I have found the Route 2 approach to be a fresh “out of the box” way of guiding our thinking about who we are and want to be. That being said, the client needs to be ready to look at a non-traditional approach. One key reason for my use of Route 2 was to break away from the “silo” of health care experts as consultants. I am concerned about the inbreeding of ideas. Health care experience and knowledge are important but we do need to look outside ourselves and our industry as we look forward.

After building Veterinary Specialty Center, a 24-hour emergency animal hospital staffed with advanced degreed and credentialed veterinary specialists, we called upon your leadership and the Route 2 team once again. The hospital immediately opened as one of the busiest veterinary centers in the region. The high demand for services on a staff that was entirely new and medical leadership that had never been in a leadership position before created immediate issues between staff, doctors, and most significantly clients. Client satisfaction was relatively low, employee morale was dismal and job turnover high. Your work on building the team, improving processes, and creating an environment of excellence made an immediate impact. Once again with your leadership and the Route 2 visual tools the team began to set goals, make decisions and realize success. The hospital survived the early missteps and with your help became one our flagship hospitals.
