You can’t change the culture by mandate.  Try it and maybe you can get compliance, from some people, for a while because they have to.

You can change the culture  by changing your behavior. Commit to it. Practice new leadership behaviors until they become the norm. It is both a show and tell process. Show works without tell. Tell doesn’t work without show.

The behavior of the best leaders builds and maintains passionate commitment which results in people taking the right actions because they want to. I’m the Outsider and that’s what I think.
